About Us

Northeast Community Ambulance is a non-profit medical transportation company that has been serving the greater northeast section of Philadelphia and surrounding areas since 1947. We were built and pride ourselves on a few basic tenants: integrity, reliability, professionalism, and compassion. We will provide you and your loved ones with the best care possible.

Our Mission

The mission of Northeast First Aid Corps. aka Northeast Community Ambulance is to render emergency care to the ill or injured and to provide transportation to and from hospitals or other like places for treatment and care, to disseminate information regarding first aid, to provide first aid education to the general public and to engage in all activites necessary for the stated and implied mission of this organization.

What services do we provide?

24/7 Emergency Transportation

We provide BLS treatment and transport to an area hospital of your choice (conditions permitting), call our emergency line at any time.

Non-emergency Ambulance Transportation

Non-emergent ambulance transport to doctor's appointments, dialysis treatment, as well as hospital discharges.

Wheelchair Transportation

For our wheelchair-bound patients who require transport to appointments. Some conditions apply; enquires welcomed.

Employment

Northeast Community Ambulance currently only employs EMT-B's; Potential candidates should be able to provide the following upon completing an application:

  • EMT-B Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid PA driver's license
  • EVOC Certification
